The operating block is an independent, closed organizational unit of the hospital. It has six operating rooms, a postoperative supervision room and rooms required for a multi-specialist operating suite.

Annually, approximately 5,500 surgeries are performed in the Operating Block, including nearly 1,500 surgical procedures performed in the precautionary mode.

The Operating Block works in the system of continuous readiness - round the clock, performs services (operations) in the following mode:

 

 scheduled (according to the agreed schedule)

 precautionary measures (as needed).

  

 In the operating suite, surgeries are performed on patients hospitalized in surgical wards, i.e .: 

 general surgery,

 vascular surgery,

 oncological surgery,

 pediatric surgery,

 thoracic surgery,

 neurosurgery,

 orthopedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system,

 gynecology and obstetrics,

 urology,

 ophthalmology

 cardiology.

 

Operations are performed using classic and minimally invasive methods (laparoscopy, endoscopy, facoemulsification) using specialized equipment, including: laparoscopes, microscopes, arthroscope, neuromonitor, brain tumor navigator, isotope probe)
