1. Stanisława Staszica Specialist Hospital in Piła takes part in a project carried out by the Center for Quality Monitoring in Healthcare

Project title: " Support for hospitals in the implementation of quality and safety standards of care " - the project is implemented on the basis of the Decision on funding no .: POWR.05.02.00-00-0151 / 15-00, issued by the Minister of Health on March 21, 2016 - under the Knowledge, Education and Development Operational Program 2014-2020 (OP KED) co-financed by the European Social Fund; - priority axis V. Support for the area of ​​health; - measure 5.2. Pro-quality activities and organizational solutions in the health care system facilitating access to inexpensive, durable and high-quality health services; - co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund and the State Budget. 

Scope of the project: The scope of the project covers the entire territory of Poland.

Project implementer: Center for Quality Monitoring in Healthcare (CMJ). ul. Kapelanka 60, 30-347 Kraków.

2. Stanisława Staszica Specialist Hospital in Piła is a grantee of the project entitled Accessibility Plus for Health, which is financed from European Funds. Our institution received a grant of PLN 1,999,649.72 to improve the availability of services for people with special needs.

Hospital

Thanks to this funding, the group of our patients will be able to: 1. Adapt the Hospital to the needs of people with special needs, including people with disabilities and the elderly, based on the Accessibility Plus Standards for health. 2. Introduce improvements in communication - the staff will complete the sign language course, rooms and registration will be clearly marked, computers with a screening and magnifying program will be purchased with materials available in accordance with the WCAG 2.1. standard.

3. Improve the functionality of public space by renovating the main entrance to the building along with the driveway, installing benches, landings, barriers, driveways, replacing two elevators for patients, designating parking spaces for disabled people. 4. Increase user safety and comfort through contrast stair marking, training for staff and management, and more online services5. Purchase modern medical equipment adapted to people with special needs. 6. Adapt the Hospital's website to the requirements of the Act on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities.

3. Stanisława Staszica Specialist Hospital in Piła is the beneficiary of the project entitled “Purchase of an ambulance for the Medical Rescue Team of the Stanisław Staszic Specialist Hospital in Piła  as part of activities related to the prevention, counteracting and combating COVID-19 and other infectious diseases “ under Infrathe structure and Environment Operational Program for 2014-2020, Priority Axis IX Strengthening the strategic health care infrastructure, Measure 9.1 Medical rescue infrastructure.

 

Project objective: The aim of the project is to support the entity in connection with the implementation of activities related to the prevention, counteracting and combating of “COVID-19” and other infectious diseases, including improvement of the hardware infrastructure of the medical entity providing health services in the field of medical rescue or sanitary transport with Medical Rescue Teams, as well as the purchase of personal protection equipment for Medical Rescue Teams.

 

Planned results: Purchase of an ambulance with equipment and personal protective equipment in connection with the implementation of activities related to the prevention, counteracting  and combating of “COVID-19” and other infectious diseases.

Project value: PLN 520,000.00

Co-financing value: PLN 520,000.00, including:

European Regional Development Fund: PLN 442,000.00 State budget: PLN 78,000.00
