I am a patient of the Ophthalmology Department of the Specialist Hospital in Piła. I visit this department periodically, on average every 6-7 weeks and I am under the care of Dr. Monika Futyma, doctor of Medical Sciences. Dr. Futyma is an exceptional doctor. She organizes work very well in the Department and clinic at the depertment. She has time for each patient, and it must be admitted that there are a lot of them. She is incredibly empathetic, patient and understanding, especially towards elderly people. Being under the medical care of Dr. Futyma, I have a sense of security and professional medical help. I am sure that I express the opinions of the vast majority of patients in the Ophthalmology Department, resulting from conversations among other patients.
I congratulate the Hospital Management for such a doctor, you can be very proud.

Ladies and Gentlemen, on behalf of myself and my colleagues, I would like to thank you for your efforts and commitment in the fight against COVID-19. It is, among others, thanks to the good cooperation with the entities you manage, that we were able to monitor the course of the pandemic in Greater Poland on an ongoing basis and react quickly in situations requiring intervention. Thanks to good relationships, we were able to make rational decisions, guided by reliable data, professional knowledge and shared experience. We have dealt very well with the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020. And for this difficult time, for the dedication and work of you, your teams and co-workers, I would like to express my thanks. Our joint activities and developed solutions ensured the safety of patients and allowed us to avoid many dangerous situations that took place in some provinces. Recent events pose new challenges for us. I am convinced that this time we will also meet new tasks together. I hope that if we have to face further adversities in the future, as we have done so far, I will be able to count on your irreplaceable support.

Patient of the Nuclear Medicine Laboratory
With great pleasure, but also in the conviction that I can never give too many good words to you, I would like to thank Dr. Przemysław Drobik and the entire Nuclear Medicine Team for their professionalism, empathy, and the atmosphere that they build from the first contact, i.e. registration for tests, while waiting, during the test itself, also when receiving the results.
I am a cancer patient who has been successfully relieved of this severe disease for over 8 years. Each examination causes anxiety, increases stress and triggers fear. At this point, it is very important whom we meet in the hospital clinic or in the department. My sensitivity (I guessmany other people’s too) at such moments is very high. Taking care of a patient, for example, by calmly and exhaustively discussing the preparation for the test, then the installation of a cannula and giving a contrast with great care and calm, then tactfully observing the person waiting for the test and finally helping to get into the test and go through it, are something extraordinary for me while an obvious practice for the Team led by Dr. Drobik.
I also heard this opinion while waiting for the test, but also for me there was another experience. Waiting for the result itself is an understandable issue, but a very pleasant surprise was the information just after the end of the scintigraphy, which showed that the doctor was present during the examination, that he did not notice any disturbing images. These few words made this waiting so much easier.
I extend my gratitude to the Oncology Department, for the Nuclear Medicine Department at the hospital you are in charge of. I also experienced my adventure with chemotherapy in Piła and despite very difficult hospital conditions at the time, I am convinced that the care of Dr. Alina Strąg-Lemanowicz and the entire Team brought such an effect.
Finally, I would like to add that Piła and the neighboring towns together with the inhabitants deserve these places, in the case of illness, the proximity of home and loved ones is a very important motivator to fight the enemy in the form of disease.
I wish you and all the employees of the Specialist Hospital in Piła good luck and peace in coping with the hardships of everyday life.

I would like to ask you to hand it over to the director
I would like to thank the Director for the wonderful employee, Mr. Wojciech Sury from the Piła ambulance team. Mr. Wojciech overshadowed the attitude of many doctors with his attitude and approach to the patient. He is a wonderful, warm person who approaches the patient with heart. Thank you very much,
Ewa, the patient's daughter, whose help was provided on February 4, 2021t by Mr. Wojciech.

My name is Katarzyna. A few months ago, I was a patient in the Gynecology Department in Piła, at a time when COVID-19 was rampant all over the world. It was a time of great anxiety, difficult decisions and constant uncertainty. The situation made us stay away from the people we love. We cannot shake hands, hug or kiss them. But we can support and encourage each other with kind words.
That is why I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to the entire staff of the Gynecological Department for your effort, courage and dedication. I felt very safe in the ward. You have shown all of us a lot of warmth and human kindness. I am not able to fully imagine the enormity of emotions, anxiety, fear, stress and helplessness that accompany you to this day. Despite all this, you tirelessly struggled with a smile on your faces and continue to do so. As a patient, I know how important a role nurses play in medical care. Thanks to the technique and skills of doctors, a patient's life can be saved, but no device can replace the care and compassion of another human being, which I experienced from the nurses in this ward. I realize that not everyone knows how to appreciate your hard work with appreciation, but don't let this discourage you.
Yours faithfully Katarzyna
